One week post-demo launch, and we’re so excited to share some larger updates & fixes based on your feedback!
Thank you to everyone who's been playing and sending in reports!
Here are the big updates:
Timed Mow
A new mode next to FREE MOW. You get a fresh lawn and no dialogue, and the clock doesn't stop until you hit 100%. Each contract now has a LEADERBOARD tab with Solo and Two-player boards. Come post your times
Paloma's bird garden
Her birdwatching area got knocked over! Set the bird bath, feeder, birdhouse, bird table and bench back where they belong. There might also be a secret if you fill the bird bath...
Fuel is now an upgrade
The Sprayer starts out water-only. Fuel unlocks for free at Rank 30, and the game walks you through claiming it. Try it out on the new weeds around The Lindens' pool deck and driveway.
Big Park is now TWO jobs
Big Park West (the playground side) and Big Park East across the street. East is one of the extra contracts you unlock with the code in our #in-game-rewards Discord channel.

The Burbs
• Burnt some grass? Spray it with WATER and it grows back. You'll get a tip the first time you burn something
• Burning edge grass now counts as trimmed. This fixes the "invisible grass" that wouldn't finish Clean Edges
• Trimmed edges now stay as dirt instead of fading back
• The Lindens' roof and awning now fade out when you drive near them
• Trash can lids are back, and they swing open when a can tips over
• Fixed buttons (like the elevator ones) getting stuck on after a trash can touched them
• Big Park's flamingo found a new hiding spot
Tools
• Sprayer tank holds twice as much
• Edge trimmer cuts a little tighter for cleaner edging
• Fixed the vacuum refusing to pick up garbage on roads and the park court
Multiplayer & Co-op
• Friend rolled their mower? Walk up and Interact to flip it back over
• New achievement: Parkour!
• Couch co-op: a keyboard player now keeps keyboard prompts and the mouse cursor when Player 2 is on a controller
Menus & Controls
• Hold to skip dialogue
• New banner at the top of the screen for goals, challenges, achievements and new mail
• Settings gear on the top bar, plus a cleaner button layout with tooltips on contract select
• The controls HUD now shows your rebound keys
• Esc now backs out of Settings on the title screen
• Pausing now stops cruise control (no more mower driving off behind the pause menu)
• Depth of field slider now actually adjusts the effect
Fixes & Performance
• Fixed a bug that could wipe progress on a saved contract
• Smoother framerate in The Burbs, with fewer hitches from autosave and the dog
• Unplugging a controller no longer breaks input
• No more double-click to close the last line of dialogue
• A save reminder pops up every 25 minutes in story contracts
