48 hours after our initial demo release, we have some quick updates & fixes!
Hey all!
Thank you again to everyone who's been giving us feedback on the demo. A big update is going out today that should address a lot of the issues and feedback you've been sending over, and I've got a few more things probably going out this weekend.
Heads-up: the latest demo has limited content for brand-new players. You can unlock the extra contracts by joining our Discord and navigating to our in-game rewards channel .
Note: If you've already been playing the demo, you should still have access to everything. Finishing the demo also points you to the code.
What I'd love feedback on:
Camera & mower movement: these have been polished to feel more comfortable, especially in tighter areas and near roofs. Let us know what you think!
Steering modes: there's now an option in Settings to try different steering modes. I know folks have asked for more camera-based steering. I'm not personally a big fan of it, but it's in there for all of you to check out, so let me know how it feels.
Public rooms: the room browser is back! Host a public room and others can find and join it from FIND ROOM.

Camera
• Fences, roofs, lamps and mailboxes now fade out around your mower instead of shoving the camera into your face
• Camera Auto-Recenter is now OFF by default. The camera stays where you leave it. Turn it back on in Settings > Game (it now waits 5s before swinging back)
• The tutorial now has a camera tip with a shortcut straight to Settings
The Burbs
• Grandma Jade has been busy! Her garden got a full makeover, and her contract has been updated. She's now your first vacuum job, so bring it along
• Neighbour dialogue updated to match the new yard order
• Fixed the pool teeter-totter getting wedged in the rocks
Workstation
• Buying an antenna now asks you to confirm, so no more accidental purchases
• The "new item" dots now clear once you've seen them
• Full-game content is marked with a gold FULL GAME tag
Multiplayer
• FIND ROOM is back! Browse public rooms by region and see whose room it is. You can even jump into rooms already mid-contract
• HOST now lets you pick room size (2–8) and Public or Private
• Streamer Mode (Settings > Game) hides your room code and promo codes on screen. You can still click to copy the code
• Blocking now works in public rooms too. Blocked players get removed if you're hosting, and you get the option to leave if you're not
• New "Recently Played With" list in Settings > Blocked
Controls & Fixes
• PlayStation button icons on the controls HUD and in Settings
• Fixed everyone seeing the host's antenna topper (yes, the cat )
• Fixed "Waiting to Spawn" getting stuck on screen
• Fixed boost being bound to the cruise control key. Boost is back on its own button
• Fixed the workstation getting stuck on screen when accepting a Steam invite
Audio
• The music slider and mute now affect the menu music too, and changes apply right away
